Who we are

ESCTYPE is a trade name of Inscope, Ghent, Belgium, company number BE 0899.946.501, VAT BE0899946501. Contact: studio@esctype.com.

What you buy

A commission: artwork of your vehicle, created from photos you supply and art-directed by ESCTYPE, delivered as the format you choose (Plate, Triptych or Story) and, where included, as printed and framed objects and digital files. Prices on the site are in euro and include Belgian VAT and shipping to the countries listed on our shipping page.

Order and payment

The contract is formed when your payment is confirmed. Payments are processed by Stripe. After payment you send us your photos and direction (the brief).

How a commission works

  • We send a watermarked proof by email within 5 working days of receiving a complete brief.
  • Two rounds of corrections are included. Corrections concern the accuracy of your vehicle and clear errors, not a new concept.
  • We print only after you approve the proof in writing (a reply by email is enough).
  • Approved work is delivered within 30 days of approval.

Cancellation and our guarantee

You can cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve the proof. If, after two correction rounds, we cannot represent your vehicle to a reasonable standard, we refund you in full.

Because each commission is made to your specifications, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once you have approved the proof (Belgian Code of Economic Law, art. VI.53, 3°). This does not affect your legal guarantee of conformity.

Damage and defects

If a print or frame arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 7 days with a photo and we replace it at no cost. The two-year legal guarantee of conformity applies to the physical products.

Your photos and the artwork

  • You confirm that you may use the photos you send us and that the vehicle is yours or that you have permission from its owner.
  • You may use the delivered artwork privately and share it on your personal social media. Commercial use requires our written permission.
  • ESCTYPE keeps the rights to the artwork. We show your commission in our archive or advertising only if you give permission in your brief.
  • Vehicle names and marks belong to their owners. ESCTYPE is not affiliated with any manufacturer.
  • Images are made with generative tools under human art direction.

Law and disputes

Belgian law applies. If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can contact the Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be / mediationconsommateur.be).
