What we collect and why

• Order details (name, email, billing and shipping address, what you bought): to deliver your order and keep our accounts. Legal basis: the contract and our legal obligations.
• Your brief (photos of your car, which may show a number plate, and your notes): to create your artwork. Legal basis: the contract.
• Advertising measurement: only if you accept the cookie banner, a Meta Pixel records page views and purchases so we can see which ads work. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw by clearing this site's data.
• Campaign tags: if you arrive from one of our ads, the campaign name from the link is attached to your order so we know which ad led to it. It does not identify you.

Who processes data for us

• Stripe (payments)
• Tally (the brief form and photo upload)
• Microsoft Azure (website hosting)
• Generative image providers we use to create artwork. We send them your car photos, never your name or address.
• Our print and framing partner (your name and shipping address)
• Meta (only with your consent)

How long we keep it

Order and invoice data: 7 years, as Belgian accounting law requires. Photos and briefs: deleted 12 months after delivery, unless you allowed us to show your commission in our archive.

Your rights

You can ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to its use, by emailing studio@esctype.com. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
