Northern Signal
The last ordinary road. After this, the maps stop agreeing with each other.
A harbour that is on no chart, and something grey waiting in the water.
The submarine has been here for decades. Someone still clears the snow.
A fuel station built for something that never landed. The lights still come on.
A glass hut in the trees. The candles were already lit.
The lake held. Above it, the sky kept transmitting.
